For months after her brother died, Riley Keough “did not get out of bed.” The 32-year-old actress Riley Keough has acknowledged that it was “completely weakened.” She was only able to operate for a while after Benjamin Keough took her own life in July 2020, at the age of 27.
“It was one year of feeling that I was thrown into the sea and was unable to swim,” she told The New York Times newspaper.
“It’s extremely difficult for us to put that anyplace since it’s so controversial,” she added.
Riley’s friends and family, including spouse Ben Smith-Petersen, have sought assistance.
Recently Riley confessed she still has “bad days” as she complains about her brother, but she does her best to live and appreciate the wonderful things that are going to happen in her life.
