Prime Minister Imran Khan has ruled out normalizing relations with India, saying such a move would be a betrayal of the Kashmiri people.
Speaking in a live Q&A session with the public on Sunday, Khan said that rebuilding ties with his eastern neighbor would ignore “the whole struggle of them [Kashmir] and the more than 100,000 Kashmiris who were martyred”.

The pending talks could only resume if New Delhi revoked India’s longstanding semi-autonomous status in Kashmir, he said.
