Queen Elizabeth II will be removed as head of state of Jamaica, reports

According to reports, it has expected that Queen Elizabeth II will no longer serve as the country’s head of state of Jamaica. The state will officially initiates its independence from the British monarchy in future.

A senior minister stated that the process will complete in stages before the next election in 2025. He manages the country’s Ministry of Legal and Constitutional Affairs.

The process of breaking away and removing Queen Elizabeth from Jamaica state will involve a number of stages. One of which will involve a vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Jamaican government. Another stage will involve a referendum of the Jamaican people.

The announcement comes many months after Prince William and Kate Middleton took a vacation to the Caribbean to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth. As a direct result of their arrival, protests broke out in a number of different places.

In the last year, Barbados has lost another remnant of its colonial past by ceasing to declare loyalty to Queen Elizabeth II. As a result, the island nation has become the world’s first republic. The event has attended by a variety of dignitaries, authorities and performers.
