On Wednesday, Qasim Khan Suri, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, revealed that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
In a tweet, the deputy speaker said his COVID-19 test had come back positive.
The speaker said he had been suffering from moderate fever, followed by headache, for the last two to three days.
Suri requested people to pray for him, and also encouraged the masses to take seriously the third wave of the pandemic.
