Punjab schools will close from March 15 till March 25

Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood address in his press conference that educational institutes will close in Punjab sectors from Monday 15 March 2021 till 25 March 2021 due to frequently increasing cases of Covid-19.

After the NCOC meeting, Shafqat Mehmood addresses the media that the educational institutions would be closed in Islamabad and other Punjab cities from Monday for two weeks.

The SAPM on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan said Work from home strategies will immediately be implemented in Islamabad as well as other cities of Punjab.

He further said that situation will also be monitor in next month of 12th.

Dr. Faisal Sultan said the vaccination process for above 60 year age started for this senior citizen should send their CNIC number on 1166 number for the vaccination process

In this meeting planning minister Asad Umar also delivered comprehensive details and guidelines from the prevention of covid-19 till 15 March so that the cases in these days should not be intensively increased.

Strict adherence to mask wear continues everywhere.

Due to the spread of disease/hotspots, Smart Lock / Micro Smart Lock will still be needed. The 50% homework policy will be applied. However, it will be implemented in Islamabad very soon.

The 10 pm deadline for all commercial activities will be extended immediately, without basic services. However, outdoor catering remains open, as was the case in the past.

Outdoor gatherings will continue to be limit to a maximum of 300 people under the strict implementation of the COVID-19 SOP. A review of all NPIs will be carried out on April 12, 2021.
