Punjab’s chief health adviser Hanif Khan Pitafi said the Punjab government was taking effective measures to end the hardships in southern Punjab and billions of rupees had been allocated for development projects in the Dera Ghazi Khan division.
He said that in Sora, Tehsil Ko-e-Suleman, a dam worth five billion rupees would be built to contain the waters of Bukit Medan under the special direction of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
He said centers, as well as Nashimani and Panagas, were being built in DG Khan for women, the disabled, and the homeless, at a cost of millions of rupees.
