Punjab Coronavirus Update: Corona kills seven people

In Punjab, about seven patients died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, with three of the deaths recorded in Lahore, while a total of 203 new cases were reported from throughout the province.

So far, 438,650 instances have been reported, which represents a significant increase. In addition, 417,512 individuals have entirely recovered across the province, bringing the total number of active cases to 8,258 as of today, according to the latest figures. In the last 24 hours, 15,406 tests were carried out, bringing the total number of tests carried out to 7,782,084.

Dengue Update: Imran Sikandar Baloch, Secretary of the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD), provided an overview of the current state of dengue in the entire province.

Dengue prevention activities across Punjab should be stepped up, according to his directive to the relevant department. In this regard, he urged people to pay close attention to cleanliness and to refrain from disposing of waste in public locations.

It has been established that 477 confirmed instances of dengue fever have been recorded across the province in the previous 24 hours, with 354 confirmed cases reported from Lahore. So far this year, 8,882 confirmed cases of dengue have been recorded across the entire province, with 6,347 confirmed cases reported from Lahore, according to the latest available data.

In the last 24 hours, one death has been recorded from Punjab, bringing the total number of deaths to 22. An overall total of 2,311 patients were admitted across the province of Punjab, with 1,324 patients being admitted to hospitals in the city of Lahore and 987 patients being admitted to hospitals in other locations throughout Punjab.
