PUBG is launching a horror makeover for Halloween

Now that October is here, people are starting to get into the PUBG Halloween makeover spirit. Along with the popular survival game Dead by Daylight, PUBG will get a spooky Halloween makeover this month.

The news of the partnership is only did share yesterday on the official PUBG Twitter account. This confirmed that the shooting game’s Halloween update will release this month, though the exact date is still unknown.

There’s no telling how the worlds of the two games will connect. But we can be sure that some of the characters from the horror game will show up in PUBG. Players in Dead by Daylight can play either killers or survivors. As part of the partnership, some of them might be playable as unlocked characters in PUBG, but details are still missing.

As Halloween gets closer, it’s possible that, in addition to a bunch of new skins, we’ll get some spooky new game types. Maybe some of the maps also did change for October.

Keep in mind that the PC version of PUBG, which is also playable on Xbox and PlayStation, will soon get this collaboration. Nobody knows when or if the update will come to PUBG Mobile.

In related news, PUBG Mobile got a new map and gameplay style with the release of version 2.2. Nusa, the new map, is an island paradise similar to Caldera, another popular area in Call of Duty: Warzone. The new Super Recall feature lets players go back to the battlefield if they still have a living teammate. Similar to Call of Duty’s Plunder mode, players who die when playing solo will automatically respawn.

The NS2000 Shotgun and Tactical Crossbow are two of the new weapons that can be used to set buildings on fire to get people to come outside.
