PTI Senator Ejaz Chaudhry meet TLP Leader Saad Hussain Rizvi

Senator Ejaz Chaudhry of the Pakistan tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) met with the leader of the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Saad Hussain Rizvi on Saturday, according to a TLP spokesperson who stated that “doors never close in politics.”

The TLP leader was released from prison on Thursday after more than seven months in prison as a result of a settlement reached between the government and the party, the details of which have not yet been made public by the government.

Rizvi was apprehended in April on the orders of the deputy commissioner of Lahore, just after the party called nationwide rallies against the government.

During his encounter with Rizvi at the Rehmatul Lil Alameen Mosque in Lahore, Chaudhry also offered a bouquet to the leader of the TLP and expressed his congratulations on his release from imprisonment.

Bringing a bouquet to the event, Chaudhry fulfilled a promise made earlier in the month to show up with flowers. “When Saad Rizvi is liberated, I will gift him with a bouquet,” he stated in an interview with Geo News.

After the meeting, Chaudhry told the media that he had traveled to visit Rizvi as a show of goodwill and that it is the government’s job to maintain communication with leaders who are “different from the rest of the country.”

“It is the state’s job to establish such relationships with the people that an atmosphere of concord can be created,” Chaudhry continued, adding that

Following the fulfillment of the agreement with TLP, the PTI leader said he had arrived at Rizvi’s residence to speak with him. The PTI leader stated that he had expressed pleasure with the government’s agreement with TLP.

To a journalist’s question about whether he had met Rizvi after receiving permission from Prime Minister Imran Khan, he responded that he “never meets” anyone without first seeking permission from the premier.

In response to another query, he stated that it was too early to speculate on whether or not the prime minister would meet with the leader of the TLP.
