David Gower and others commentators join PSL’s star studded commentary panel for the sixth edition of Pakistan’s premier T20 tournament.
The PSL‘s star studded commentary panel for the long event starts at the National Stadium Karachi on 20 February, has unveiled today by the PCB.
“Famous Pakistani commentators including Bazid Khan, Ramiz Raja, Sana Mir and Urooj Mumtaz are going to be doing bi-lingual commentary. While Tariq Saeed and Sikandar Bakht will be a part of the panel as Urdu commentators,” said press release.
Apart from Gower other foreign commentators to hitch the league are Simon Doull. Also Pommie Mbangwa, JP Duminy, Danny Morrison, Dominic Cork, and Alan Wilkins.
However, the previous England captain and Danny Morrision will only be a part of the commentary panel for the Karachi side of the tournament.
Gower won’t be the sole one appearing as a commentator for the first time. It’ll even be a first time for Simon Doull, former South African all-rounder JP Duminy. The PCB said that Duminy and Mbangwa will join the commentary box for the second side in Lahore.
The PCB said that the tournament are going to produce fully HD mode by the consortium of Blitz Advertising/Transgroup & NEP.
“The HBL PSL 6 are going to be produced with a 30 + camera setup, the productions are going to be Full HD, while the bulk of the lenses are going to be 4K for extra sharpness of the photographs ,” media.
The setup includes super movie cameras, ultra-motion, Spidercam with ‘Parvàz’, Hawkeye with all DRS enhancements, Buggy-cam with player interview capability and drone camera among others.
