According to a representative of the provincial government, the government has decided to reverse the recent increase in property tax.
According to Punjab Minister for Commerce and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal at a meeting with Mian Tariq Misbah, president of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the government will implement a number of business-friendly initiatives over the next few months, according to the minister.

Iqbal emphasized the efforts taken by the government to protect businesses from the devastating effects of the Covid-19, and he stated that the rise in the property tax would be withdrawn at the future cabinet meeting.
He stated that the current leadership was willing to listen to and put into effect the proposals made by the business community.
He praised the minister for settling the property tax issue and for his continued support of the business community’s goals and objectives.
