In an interview with Telegraphy t2 for the promotion of her upcoming series Citadel, she shared that she has gotten used to being referred to as “PC” in India due to her common name.
However, in America, where people only know her as Priyanka, she takes full advantage of it. She also discussed the issue of pay disparity in India and revealed that she has been paid the same amount as her co-stars in Citadel.
Directed by Russo brothers, Citadel features Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden in the lead roles. The series is set to stream on Amazon Prime on April 28. On the other hand, Priyanka is also going to make her comeback in Bollywood with Farhan Akhtar’s directorial film Jee Le Zaraa, as reported by Pinkvilla.
