Princess Diana wants Prince Harry to take the throne, not Prince William. That’s why the Princess of Wales has such a cute nickname for Harry, according to royal expert Robert Jobson.
He told Channel 5 William and Harry, “Princes At War?”: “He named Harry GKH (Good King Harry) because he thought he might be better equipped for the role than William in the future.”
Another expert revealed that William Diana often said that he “didn’t want to be king”. A young Harry is said to have replied outrageously: “If you don’t want the job I’ll have it.”
TV cameraman Jeremy Paxman recalled, “We talked about our children and he said that William used to tell him he didn’t really want to be king and then Harry said, ‘If you don’t want the job I’ll… have it ‘”
