Experts were commended for the choice of Prince Harry and Prince William to submit a joint statement about the inauguration of the statue of Princess Diana for being ‘a sensible alternative.’
This remark was made during an interview with the magazine People by the royal novelist Robert Lacey.
“It was a really well-conceived choice not to speak. There he acknowledged. The notion of opposing speeches may have been terrible, but it was excellent to make a thoughtful unified message and indicates a way forward.”
