Population Matters, a UK-based organization that works for a “sustainable human population,” bestowed medals on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle this week, adding to their growing list of honors.
It stated that the couple had been chosen to win an award for their “enlightened” decision to have only two children. Harry previously told British Vogue that he and Meghan would have no more than two children, which they now have in the form of Archie and Lilibet.
The couple had had a turbulent few years as members of the Royal Family, detailing their hardships and tribulations earlier this year in a candid interview with US talk show host Oprah Winfrey.
During the interview, Harry stated that he felt “stuck” in the Royal Family and had no influence over his life as it unfolded in front of him.
On Oprah‘s request to resign from royal life unless it was for Meghan, Harry answered, “No, there is no answer to your question.
