Prince Harry paid tribute to his mother, Princess Diana, as he spoke out loud to inspiring young leaders in his speech, asking them to stand up fearlessly for what they believe in.
The Duke of Sussex also honors the next generation of leaders who carry on their late mother’s legacy of philanthropy and service.
In a haunting speech at the Diana Awards in 2021, Prince Harry said, “Don’t be afraid and stand for what you believe in.”
Harry began, “It is a real honor to celebrate your work, your commitment to change, and the important role you have played in representing a new generation of humanity.”
“I want to thank you for being a part of this important moment and being an invaluable asset to your community.”
“Our moms think that young people can change the world. He believes in your power because he sees it day by day. And in the faces of young people like you, he sees boundless enthusiasm and passion. and I also see that these same values shine through.” Prince Harry said.
