Sussex’s Duchess and her two children would probably accompany the Duke if he returned to the UK for a further ceremony concerning the life of his mother.
On what would have been her 60th birthday, Prince Harry unveiled a sculpture by their late mother Diana together with his brother Prince William.
His wife and children did not accompany Harry on his last visit to the United Kingdom. But Meghan is also likely to return to commemorate the life of Diana.
The relationship between the Sussexes and the broader Royal Family deteriorated dramatically following an appearance with Oprah Winfrey in March when they made several explosive allegations.
However, in September there are suggestions for a larger event when limitations of COVID-19 had to be removed.
Prince Harry was the first visit to Great Britain since the couple relocated to the US, in April he attended the burial of Prince Philip, and on Friday he unveiled the monument (July 1).
