Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spoke out about misinformation on Spotify

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have spoken out over COVID-19 misinformation on Spotify. This challenge of real-time worldwide misinformation is a primary focus of Archewell from day one.

Spotify announced a relationship with the Sussexes In December 2020. Harry and Meghan will host and create podcasts to promote community by sharing shared experience, stories and ideals. However, the Sussexes have yet to formally announce any other collaborations.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are the latest to voice their displeasure with Spotify. They said, Spotify should adopt a policy to deal with false information on its site.

Spotify received an open letter signed by 270 medical professionals, researchers, and specialists in the realm of health. In facilitating the spread of inaccurate and damaging statements to society, Spotify allows its hosted media to impair public faith in scientific research. It also raise doubt in the integrity of data-driven advise supplied by medical experts.

Moreover, Archwell’s representative stated, “hundreds of millions of people have touched by the major impacts of pervasive misinformation every day. We’ve been in touch with Spotify on a regular basis to voice our concerns about the current state of the platform in light of the public health issue. When it comes to this time, we’re looking to Spotify, and we have committed to working with them as long as they do.”
