Prince Andrew is still person of interest for FBI in child abuse probes

Legal experts believe that the investigations of FBI into Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell may still include Prince Andrew. However, he reached a £12 million deal with Virginia Giuffre last week but he remains a person of interest.

According to civil litigation and sexual harassment attorney Dr. Ann Olivarius, “Prince Andrew has no promises. His dealings with Virginia Giuffre may be over but the US authorities will keep looking for him if they want to talk to him. So far, Prince Andrew has refused to cooperate on this major diplomatic problem.”

The Duke vowed to help with law enforcement during his catastrophic BBC Newsnight appearance in 2019. However, he has so far rebuffed American investigators who want to interrogate him as a possible witness. Prince Andrew has approached by the FBI and the police and requested to collaborate in 2018-2019.

Moreover, Jeffrey Epstein, a millionaire paedophile committed suicide in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex charges. Maxwell, an old acquaintance of Andrew’s has sentenced to 65 years in prison. After the trial, a juror in the case provided media interviews. He disclosed facts about the jury’s deliberations and Maxwell is putting her hopes on an appeal.
