President Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan escaped when the Taliban came to Kabul and heavily criticised his opponents for not being able to leave his nation, as fearful Taliban return to control.
Ashraf posted a letter on social media to his fellow countrymen saying, “The Taliban made it for me to be removed, all Kabul and the people of Kabul are here for assault. I believed it was better to move out to prevent the blood flood.”
“Taliban won a sword and pistol judgement, now it protects the honour, riches and self-esteem of the compatriots. Have they not gained heart legitimacy,” Ashraf Ghani wrote.
