Ahmad Khan Niazi, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Nankana Sahib, inspected the Muharram plans during a meeting on Tuesday.
The DC stated Islam is teaching peace and tolerance while addressing the assembly. He stated that it was also the obligation of the whole nation to preserve peace and order throughout Muharram.
Bilal Iftikhar, District Police Officer (DPO) stated foolproof Majalis and processions had concluded. He claimed a control room would function 24 hours a day had been created.
Other religious scholars were also present: Former MNA Bilal, MPA Mian Muhammad Atif, religious scholar Allama Muhibul Nabi Tahir.
