The PPP held protests in different cities on Friday, criticizing the govt of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) for the ongoing gas crisis and rising prices.
According to the official Twitter account of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), protests against gas shortages took place in Jamshoro and Quetta, as well as Karachi, Quetta, Loralai, Badin, and other cities.
People in the country have had to deal with gas shortages since the start of winter. People at home and at work have had to deal with the country’s gas shortage.
Saeed Ghani, the Sindh Information Minister, told a protest in Karachi’s East district that PPP workers were protesting the gas crisis at the same time in different cities across the country because the party’s leader, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, told them to.

Ghani said that the PTI had said that they would build five million homes for the people.

He said the PTI government had ruined the country’s economy and that soon, “the government will not even have enough money to pay government employees in Islamabad’s pay” because of this.
“This is the bad luck of the poor in this country,” he said.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan once said that even a small rise in the value of the dollar meant that the country’s rulers were dishonest, and he took that as a joke.
As Ghani said, the rupee has been falling against the dollar for a long time now, that’s why Ghani agreed with what Imran khan said.
During a meeting with provincial government officials, the provincial minister said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, which is a coalition partner of the PTI at the federal level, should not have been “silent” about the gas crisis, rising electricity prices, and rising inflation.
