Raj Kundra, the husband of actress Shilpa Shetty, has been detained in the pornographic creation case until July 23.
However, this is not the first time that charges of such a crime have been levelled against him. Poonam Pandey, an actress and model, filed a fraud charge against Kundra in 2019. Poonam had launched a lawsuit against Kundra and his colleagues at Armsprime Media, the firm in charge of her app.
She had claimed that they were utilising her films unlawfully long after their contract with her had expired.
Poonam also stated that her phone number and certain photos were leaked as a result of the argument. This led in her receiving nasty phone calls.
