The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) decided Tuesday to give grace marks to MDCAT candidates because of errors.
PMC President Dr. Noshad Ahmad Shaikh said the commission analyzed candidate complaints and decided to give grace marks for wrong and out-of-course questions.
The commission instructed all test-taking vice-chancellors.
MDCAT results will be released in a week. Over 0.204 million candidates took the MDCAT through federal and provincial public universities, the PMC said.
According to Dr. Noshad, 204,253 youth took the test, including 203,791 in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The minimum MDCAT passing score for medical schools is 65, and for dental schools, it’s 55.
