In a visit to the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Secretariat on Friday, Prime Minister Imran Khan was accompanied by senior federal ministers as well as the chief ministers of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.
The Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, were also in attendance.
The dignitaries were greeted by Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed, Director General of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).
In order to provide a thorough briefing to the national and military leadership on national security and regional dynamics, with a particular emphasis on the current situation in Afghanistan,
PM Imran Khan acknowledged his appreciation for the hard work of the Inter Services Intelligence for national security and expressed his pleasure with the level of professional readiness shown by the organization.
