Shortly after President Ashraf Ghani left the Afghanistan, the Taliban took possession of Afghanistan’s presidential palace.
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Sunday invited Prime Minister Imran Khan to assess the fast changing situation in Afghanistan, said Prime Minister Khan’s Office (PMO) statement.
The statement claimed the Premier noted that Pakistan has extended, as requested, the facility for the evacuation of diplomatic employees and staff of international organizations.

It said that in tomorrow’s National Security Committee (NSC) meeting the changing situation will be discussed further.
“After the meeting, both leaders will again confer for coordination,” the statement continued.
Pakistan’s will to continue every effort to promote an inclusive policy solution in Afghanistan has been reiterated by PM Imran.
