While admitting that sending PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif abroad was a mistake, Prime Minister Imran Khan stated that he would never grant an NRO to these criminals who have looted national wealth as long as he lived.
On Saturday, the prime minister said that all of these thieves fear of him, and that JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman is threatening them that if Imran Khan is not removed from power, they will be unable to win the 2023 elections in their home province of Mandi Bahauddin.
He claims that this is the first time in 30 years that the assembly has been able to operate without Fazlur Rehman.
Imran Khan claimed that Nawaz Sharif had fled the nation and that his younger brother, was now considering doing the same. “We have discovered transactions in the account of Shehbaz Sharif’s clerk, Maqsood chaprasi, totaling millions of rupees,” he said, before questioning how Maqsood, a low-level employee in Ramzan sugar mills, could have received millions in his accounts.
He claimed that as soon as the matter was brought to public attention, Shehbaz Sharif facilitated the escape of his son from the country, while Shahid Khaqan Abbasi facilitated the escape of former finance minister Ishaq Dar in his plane, according to the report.

According to him, “until this money is returned, I will continue to pursue these thieves.”
The prime minister also accused the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of attacking and blackmailing the judiciary in the past, and claimed that they had even attempted to blackmail a chief justice through his tampered audio recording.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, questioned why, if Shehbaz Sharif is innocent, he is requesting a postponement in the trial of this matter. “He should instead want a day-to-day hearing to demonstrate his innocence,” the premier stated, adding that he should call for a day-to-day hearing. “They wished to obtain the NRO that had been granted during Musharraf’s tenure.”
According to him, “whatever they have planned against me, I am prepared to deal with it, and they will be vanquished.” He went on to say that they will now be sent to prison in front of the adoring throng.
The prime minister stated that he is always considering methods to cope with the rise in commodity prices, but that it is a worldwide problem driven by supply-chain concerns.
“Oil prices have risen from US$40 per barrel to US$90 per barrel,” Imran Khan stated, adding that the government was attempting to reduce the burden on the general public by eliminating multiple duties and taxes, among other measures.
He did, however, highlight that the country has turned a corner, with exports reaching record highs and Pakistanis living abroad contributing the biggest amount of remittances in the country’s history.
