Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the Federal Revenue Board(FBR) for its historic revenue collection growth of 41% when it set a record-raising 460 billion rupees in March 2021.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said the collection amounted to Rs. 3,380 billion from July 2020 to March 2021, which is 10% more than the same period last year.
According to the FBR announcement on Wednesday, the Board of Directors released preliminary income survey figures for the first nine months of the current fiscal year.

FBR must now raise 1,323 billion rupees in the last quarter (April to June) to demonstrate a revised target of 4,717 billion rupees by 30 June 2021.
