Prime Minister Imran Khan underlined that the country needs long-term planning and added that in every area during the tenure of past regimes Pakistan was lacked planning.
“Today we are supposed to perform work 50 years ago,” said the Premier, speaking at the event to launch the Pakistan Green Bond, which was initiated by the Water Development Authorities in The First Green Eurobond (Indus Bond) (WAPDA).
In 1968, the Pakistani economy was thriving and Pakistan was growing quickly, Imran added, but regrettably there was a dearth of prospective long-term planning in the country.
The Prime Minister also commended WAPDA on the planning of the construction of 10 barracks in the coming decade.
