PM Imran Khan calls Sheikh Mohamed of the United Arab Emirates

On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan held a phone call with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, heir to the Abu Dhabi throne and Deputy Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to discuss ways to further strengthen and diversify bilateral relations.

In the conversation, the two leaders confirmed the close brotherly relationship between the two countries.

Prime Minister Imran thanked the United Arab Emirates for its continued cooperation and support, including in multilateral forums. He also stressed the importance of a responsible withdrawal and continued progress by Afghan parties towards a political solution.

Both heads of state and government welcomed efforts to strengthen cooperation in the field of making the COVID-19 vaccine and in the field of information technology.

High-level exchange dynamics were agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
