PM Imran asked foreign leaders to offer Afghans economic support

Prime Minister Imran Khan Tuesday discusses the changing situation in Afghanistan after the Taliban takeover with German, Danish, and UK leaders.

The Prime Minister reminded them that the international community must continue to help the people of Afghanistan economically, while Pakistan is reaching out to all Afghan authorities.

He gave his thoughts during his conversations with President Merkel, the British Prime Minister and Mette Frederiksen, who called for an exchange of ideas on the Afghanistan situation. He also spoke with the German Chancer Angela Merkel.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan underlined the importance of safety and security and the preservation of the rights of all Afghans.

He said the best path ahead was an inclusive political settlement to the Afghan problem.

The Prime Minister said Pakistan facilitates the departure from Afghanistan of diplomatic employees and staff of international organizations.
