Earlier this week, a delegation from the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) visited the police headquarters in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) to demonstrate the new Crime Analytics and Smart Police in Pakistan (CAASPP).
The PITB team engaged the director of IT, ICT police and contact person, CAASPP, and gave a full demonstration of CAASPP to the two managers.
The Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications (MoITT), Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui, approved the development of CAASPP last year.
CAASPP will soon be officially launched in Punjab, Sindh, KP, Balochistan and AJK.
PITB developed CAASPP as part of the Digital Pakistan initiative launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan in December 2019.
PITB has achieved many milestones as part of the Digital Pakistan initiative.
Recently, PITB launched Punjab Jobs Online, a centralized platform where all vacancies are posted under the provincial government and candidates can apply for various jobs online.
