Pindi Cricket Stadium hosts the National T20 Cup today

Several members of Pakistan’s national cricket team have asked cricket fans to rally behind the competition, which is slated to begin today at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Islamabad.

According to the schedule, past champions Northern will face Balochistan in the first match of the National T20 Cup, while Babar Azam’s Central Punjab will face Mohammad Rizwan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the second match of the tournament.

This afternoon’s first match will begin at 3:00 PM, with the second match between KP and CP beginning at 07:30 PM.

In the series, which will run until October 13, six teams will compete against each other. Shadab Khan is in charge of the Northern team, while Sarfaraz Ahmed is in charge of Sindh, Sohaib Maqsood is in charge of Southern Punjab, and Imam-ul-Haq is in charge of the Balochistan team.

Meanwhile, the first leg will take place in Rawalpindi until 3 October, with the final match taking place in the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on October 14. There is a cash prize of Rs. 5 million for the winner, and a cash prize of Rs. 2.5 million will be awarded to the runners-up.

Following the abrupt cancellation of the New Zealand team’s tour, Pakistan cricket administrators called up the Pakistan team squad. The event was originally slated to take place in Multan, but the location was later changed as a result of recent developments in the country.

In the opinion of experts, the competition will not only give match preparation for Team Pakistan, but it will also provide an opportunity for fringe players to demonstrate their potential for inclusion in the Pakistan Super League 7 Player Draft.
