Over the next fifteen days, the government announced that fuel prices would remain constant.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to keep prices of petroleum products as they were on May 17, 2021,” said a statement from the Oil Ministry.
Starting April 16, 2021, the government will maintain the price of petroleum products by changing the sales tax and oil tax so that the price of necessary goods does not increase proportionally and ordinary people get maximum relief,” the statement said.
The price of gasoline and diesel (HSD) will not change at the level of RS 108.56 per liter. Likewise the price of kerosene and diesel will be unchanged at Rs80 and Rs77.65 per liter.
