The Pakistani Government announced on Sunday, which reaffirmed a notification in this respect, that the price of fuel will not increase for the remaining month of August.
In an attempt to raise the tariffs, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has submitted the summary to the Oil Division.
The prices for fuel and high speed diesel were nonetheless projected to increase.
The price of petroleum oil, on the other hand, was hiked by Rs0.81 per litre and the price of light diesel by Rs1.10 per litre.
Kerosene fuel oil will be re-priced for Rs88,30 per litre. The announcement said that light diesel is now for Rs85,77 per litre.
The notice reaffirmed that the price of petroleum will stay unchanged at Rs119.80 per litre and the price of high-speed diesel at Rs116.53 per litre.
