The Pakistan Engineers Council’s (PEC) Center for Innovation and Testing (I & TC) has submitted a locally developed ventilator prototype called the AVB-100, which is equipped with all the functions available in the import function.
The innovation center will analyze the prototype over a period of two weeks using a clinical study conducted with a ventilator. According to testers, the official statement said,
“The device will be submitted to the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (Drap) for approval as a registered medical device suitable for use in Pakistan.”

He added, “This ventilator has all the features and reliability similar to the imported devices offered to patients.”
