PCB may postpone Test series against Zimbabwe to Hold PSL matches: Sources

Source: PCB may postpone test series against Zimbabwe to hold remaining matches of PSL.

After negotiating with Zimbabwe cricket officials, test series can be called off.
If Pakistan skips test series against Zimbabwe, there are bright chances to conduct remaining PSL6 matches before IPL.

It is very hard to readjust international tours, but efforts are being made to held remaining matches of PSL before the IPL, so that it will be easy for foreign players to play PSL before IPL.

Official said ” As New Zealand and India have already qualified for WTC final, it would be easy to adjust test series against Zimbabwe”

It requires at least two weeks to hold remaining PSL matches. Remaining 20 matches are possible to hold before IPL if Pakistan skips test series against Zimbabwe.

White ball series against both nations (south africa and zimbabwe) is possible on scheduled date, and Pakistan’s limited overs squad will leave for tour on scheduled date.

PCB chairman Ehsan mani likely to rise this postpone issue with Zimbabwe officials to play test series later on.

PCB will send limited over squads to both nations as per schedule.
