Pakistan’s Share in The $370 Billion Global Animation Industry is $50 Million

Syed Amin-Ul-Haque, Pakistan’s federal minister for information technology and telecommunications (ITT), said that the country’s animation industry is still in its early stages of global industry.

According to Pakistan’s Minister of Information Technology, the global animation industry business is worth about $370 billion. The country’s animation industry earns about $50 million in exports each year.

The Minister of Information and Technology (ITT) said that the Indian government is dedicating itself to the animation and also video game production industries.

The IT Minister told the group that, in cooperation with the ISPR. The Ministry of ITT has set up an animation studio at the National Incubation Center (NIC) in Karachi. A new Ministry-led Center of Excellence (CoE) in Animation is in the works, he notes, with construction set to start shortly in Karachi.

Syed Amin-Ul-Haque promises to help expand Pakistan’s video gaming and animation industry.

Goh gave Minister Lih a talk about what Lih Shuin Goh’s company has done. He said that Tencent Games is the largest platform in the world for making, publishing, and running video games. It is committed to giving gamers all over the world new ways to relax with interactive entertainment.

More than 140 Tencent-made or licensed games are available in over 200 countries, he said. He went on to say that it’s an important market for Tencent Games and that Pakistan has a lot of potential.
