While eight Pakistani athletes competing in the next Olympics tested negative for doping, the Tokyo delegation’s first batch walked away on Thursday evening.
The weightlifter Talha Talib’s doping test was waited on the day that he confirmed his participation in a quota system after the end of 21th Juli, according to a press communiqué issued on Friday from the POA, which also handed out Rs100,000 checks to each athlete in the contingent of Pakistan, the doping test was carried out late.

In the meantime the first six members of the Pakistan Contingent, which included Mahoor, Gulfam, Mostafa, Khalil, Bismah and Hezeeb, left Islamabad for Tokyo on Thursday evening.
