ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s coronavirus cases remain under control as the country reports fewer than 1,000 coronavirus cases, according to statistics from the National Center for Command and Operations (NCOC).
Pakistan has carried out 44,544 tests for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, the NCOC said, of which 901 were positive. The new cases attribute the country’s positivity coefficient to 2.02%.
Pakistan has also lost 23 people to the pandemic in the last 24 hours. The day before, the country had reported 36 deaths from the virus.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan since the pandemic began is now 954,743, while the number of active cases in the country rose to 32,341.
On the other hand, the number of people who recovered from the coronavirus exceeded 900,000 on Sunday after more than 1,300 people recovered from COVID-19.
