Positive deaths and deaths from the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic have continued to rise in Pakistan. The fatal infection has claimed another 63 lives in the past 24 hours. According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 2,260 positive cases have been reported.

With the number of new deaths and positive cases, the number of deaths in the country reached 9,816 cases while the number of active cases was 39,177. 1,531 patients recovered from the virus in one day and 2,357 patients were in critical condition. Currently, the number of cases in the country is 469,482.

Punjab reported a total of 796 coronavirus infections and 27 more deaths in the past 24 hours, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 331 coronavirus cases and 11 deaths, and 33 new cases in Balochistan and Karachi 915 new cases with 22 more deaths.
The global death toll from Covid-19 has exceeded 1.75 million, according to Johns Hopkins University (JHU).

Brazil has recorded 22,967 additional cases of the new coronavirus and 482 deaths in the past 24 hours, California has added 39,144 new cases with 312 deaths, and South Korea has reported an additional 1,132.
