Pakistan has more than 118 million 3G/4G users

In Pakistan total number of 3G/4G users went from 115.75 million at the end of June to 118.57 million at the end of July. According to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), 3G/4G users in Pakistan increased by 118 million.

Pakistan’s number of cell phone users went from 194.58 million on June 30 to 195.26 million on July 30. This is also an increase of 0.68 million.

Cellular mobile teledensity went from 88.34% to 88.61% from the end of June to the end of July. Overall teledensity went up from 89.53 percent at the end of June to 89.8 percent at the end of July.

The monthly Next Generation Mobile Service went from 52.55 percent at the end of June 2022 to 53.8 percent at the end of July (NGMS).

Between the end of June and the end of July, the number of Jazz 3G subscribers dropped by 0.109 million. By the end of July, 39.296 million people all use Jazz’s 4G service, up from 38.03 million at the end of June.

Zong’s 3G subscribers dropped from 3.197 million at the end of June to 3.108 million at the end of July. While the number of 4G customers rose from 28.906 million to 29.695 million during the same time period.

Telenor’s 3G customer base went from 3.542 million at the end of June to 3.480 million at the end of July. While its 4G customer base went from 21.831 million to 22.401 million in the same time period.

At the end of July, Ufone has 3.468 million 3G customers, which was down from 3.509 million the month before. Between the end of June and also the end of July. Ufone’s number of 4G subscribers grew by 0.49 million, from 9.419 million to 9.909 million.
