Pakistan has imposed new restrictions on arriving air travelers

On Tuesday, a new Travel Advisory from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said Pakistan put further limits on arriving travelers since the 4th wave of coronaviruses is taking hold in Pakistan.

The CAA stated in the new travel advice that all entry passengers six years and older must have genuine negative PCR test results within 72 hours before the beginning of their trip to Pakistan.

“Through quick antigen tests on arrival in Pakistan, every traveler aged 6 years and older would be tested,” the travel advice stated.

‘Any or all arriving passengers can be subject to extra conditions, as requested by the health authorities concerned, on landing in Pakistan, in view of the volatility of the situation of COVID-19.’
