The Pakistan Army has issued a statement in reaction to the defamatory statement made by Imran Khan regarding the senior leadership. According to the statement, there is great anger in the Pakistan Army over the statement of the PTI Chairman.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a statement in which it has said that it’s a shame. The Pakistan Army is making daily sacrifices of its soldiers’ lives in order to ensure the safety of the nation.
Moreover, ISPR has issued a statement in which it has stated that the Pakistan Army always dedicated to the supremacy of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any attempt to involve the top leadership of the Pakistan Army in politics is not in Pakistan’s best interest.
Therefore, Pakistan Army issued strong reaction to the statement of Imran Khan made during the rally in Faisalabad yesterday. In fact, there is a well-defined process outlined in the Constitution for the nomination of the Chief of the Army.
It should remember that current COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa has set to retire in last week of November 2022. Therefore, new Army Chief will appoint as per requirement of the institution.
