Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has scored Pakistan’s automotive industry’s greatest sales in one month’s history. With almost 15,200 car sales, the firm has closed in July 2021.
According to reports, the sales surge was caused by the reduced interest rate on auto credits and by the recent fall in vehicle costs.
It is also noted that in the Pakistani automotive industry, which is one of the primary causes for the large numbers, the Japanese manufacturer faces little or no competition.
This idea is shown by the fact that at now PSMC is a leader in the automotive sector compared with other manufacturers with a share of 66%. PSMC sold 37,730 of its Alto units in the fiscal year 2020-21.
As PSMC had sold just 5,106 units during that month, the sales decreased by 39 percent in June. The sales slowdown was nevertheless owing to the little number of devices manufactured in view of the global problems caused by COVID-19.
Sources have indicated that the business is boosting output to meet increased demand for its vehicles and that, so long as it is the only company producing a selection of small town vehicles, PSMC will continue to hold the highest market share in Pakistan.
