The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) says that in September 2022, both the number of cellphone users and the teledensity did decline for the second month in a row.
At the end of August 2022, there are still 194.75 million cellphone users in Pakistan. At the end of September 2022, there are now 194.14 million.
Cellular mobile teledensity has now did take a hit from 88.21% to 87.98% by the end of September 2022. By the end of September, the total number of people with a phone has now did take a hit from 89.4% in August to 89.17%.
Pakistan had 120,59 million 3G and 4G customers at the end of September. Up from 119,84 million at the end of August.
By the end of September, 54.65% of Americans did use a monthly NGMS plan. Which is more than the 54.35% who is using one at the end of August.
Between the end of August and the end of September, the number of Jazz 3G subscribers dropped by 0.197 million. As of August 31, they are 39.965 million Jazz 4G users. As of September 30, the is 40.48 million users.
While Zong’s 3G users went from 3.023 million in August to 2.933 million by the end of September. The company’s 4G users went from 30.218 million in August to 30.571 million by the same date.

At the end of September, there are 3.260 million Telenor 3G customers which are down from 3.365 million at the end of August. However, the number of Telenor 4G users went up from 22.523 million at the end of August to 22.534 million at the end of September.
By the end of September, there are 3.219 million Ufone 3G subscribers, down from 3.398 million the month before. At the end of August, Ufone did include 10.292 million 4G users. By the end of September, that number rises by 0.411 million to 10.703 million.
