Despite the disagreements in the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), the opposition managed to pass a resolution on the price of a coronavirus vaccine in the Senate on Monday.
Senator Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Senator Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), proposed a resolution against the sale of the coronavirus vaccine at high prices.
The Senate approved the resolution put forward by the opposition with 43 votes to 31. In the resolution, the opposition candidate asked the government to make a coronavirus vaccine available to the public for free or at a lower price.

Angered by the development, Chamberlain Shehzad Vassim said the resolution was an indictment against the government. However, Senator Faisal Javed described the resolution as “strange”. “The whole world appreciates Imran Khan’s strategy against the coronavirus,” he said, defending government steps to vaccinate the masses.
The developments came after the PPP and the Awami National Party (ANP) were notified of key cases of alleged violations of the consensus solution and the principles of the opposition alliance, the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
