On Saturday, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi stated the opposition is divided and that their attempt to file a no-confidence motion against the government will fail.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi stated that the administration was prepared to deal with the opposition’s plan and that it would be rejected convincingly. “They’d be in the government if they had votes,” he remarked.
He stated that the opposition does not have enough votes and that they will now seek support from various sources. “However, the question comes as to what parliamentarians will receive as a result of risking their loyalty for them,” he stated.
The opposition may choose to launch a motion of no confidence, but it will not succeed, according to Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) said yesterday that it would file a no-confidence motion against the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and that it would begin talks with coalition partners.

The opposition coalition, PDM, has decided to file a no-trust petition against the PTI administration after laying the groundwork for its success, as well as forming a delegation to meet the present government’s associate parties.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, after chairing the PDM summit conference, announced that he will bring a no-trust motion. He claimed that fighting the adversary on two fronts was counterproductive. He went on to say that in order to reach an agreement, everyone must be accessible.
He stated that PDM will finish its homework before implementing the no-trust policy.
