No Vehicle Can Enter Lahore Without Vehicle Fitness Certificate

The Punjab government on Friday prohibited the entry of passenger vehicles into Lahore if they did not have a “vehicle fitness certificate,” as part of its measures to combat the threat of air pollution affecting the provincial capital at the time.

The Punjab relief commissioner today issued a statement in which he warned for action against automobiles operating on Lahore’s roads without a valid license or insurance certificate.

In his order, only passenger vehicles carrying a vehicle fitness certificate would be permitted to enter the municipal limits.
