Celebrities will not provide Covid vaccination proofs at Oscars Ceremony 2022

On March 27, the Oscars ceremony 2022 will return to its historic home in the Dolby Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. This year’s audience size has not confirmed yet. However, attendees will not require to provide proof of vaccination against Covid at this year’s event.

In compliance with health and safety regulations, guests to last year’s event have subjected to rigorous Covid testing and masking policies. Since then, vaccinations against the virus have become readily available to the general population.

Large-scale events, particularly in Los Angeles have now required to show evidence of vaccination. Unvaccinated visitors will be subject to extra and more severe testing measures for the Oscars ceremony 2022 event.

There are a few awards events this season, like Screen Actors Guild and Critics Choice Awards still require participants to present immunisation evidence for entry. For now, the county of Los Angeles has not lifted its indoor mask rule.

An official Covid policy for the Academy’s forthcoming award presentation has yet to release by the organisation. This may have stopped some unvaccinated candidates and presenters from attending the Academy Awards if the Academy had enforced a no-entry policy.
